Tidying up some old photos, I found this image… and hopefully it helps clarify that my Jupiter embroidery is an embroidery, not a knitted/crocheted piece.
Jupiter embroidery - done! My own design, loosely based on a series of photos by NASA showing the Great Red Spot devouring nearby little spots :-) Chain stitch in cotton, silk and specialty threads.
Projects like this are what inspire me to want to learn how to knit/crochet.
Except it’s neither knitted nor crocheted, tis embroidery :-) Not that knitting and crocheting aren’t worth learning! (But I’m glad you like it.)
